thoughts

I tried the Nike maxsight amber tinted contacts. It was like wearing sunglases. I'm not sure how much they distinguished the frisbee from the grassy background, but it did cut out the brightness of the sun. i think i'll stick with my normal contacts. on the up side, some woman thought i was bleeding from my eyes. i'm scary.

Ernesto passed over us this weekend. as a result, no friday football. people complained too much about the weather. it was nothing compared to the annual club regionals rain.

the bottles of Biota water made by a colorado company are biodegradable. i believe the polymer is corn based and can degrade in 75 to 80 days in the right conditions. conditions are pretty specific though. i guess better than nothing. how does recycling work?

colorado also gets the honor of being the skinniest state. i think massachusetts is one of the skinniest as well unlike the states i'm close to now =P

i spent a bunch of time thinking about ultimate this weekend. brute squad went to labor day in santa cruz and i'm no longer a part of it. i miss going through the whole process of becoming a team. working towards something every day. watching it grow. i guess i put it aside for a bigger dream. i'm doing the same things working towards a goal, just on my own. somehow, the process isn't as fun. i suppose it will get better. patience.

just watched a movie - thumbsucker. it's a good movie where everyone in it is a little quirky. the law and order criminal intent guy is in it. i don't think he can play a normal role. anyway, it reminded me of when i used to suck my thumb. i felt so at home. i don't know why i stopped =P

i thought a lot about ultimate too, but in a wholly different way. i think hkupa is expecting me to be a force for them...but it makes me uncomfortable. they keep saying stuff like, "oh good, we need better girls." but the girls they have aren't bad...and i don't wanna usurp anyone's position, especially since im not planning on taking ulty very seriously...and i DEFINITELY don't want the pressure of needing to be good. sorry, i guess this didn't have much to do with your post...when i first read it, i thought the contacts were 'cancer-tinted'.
