my poor baby
i heard back from ibm, and my warranty does not cover the damages to my lcd =( furthermore, they have requested a hefty $750 to repair it. sigh. i have decided for the time being to turn my laptop into a desktop and just find an external monitor somewhere. then maybe try to replace the lcd after my warranty runs out. bummer.
i've been having trouble sleeping lately. which is weird. there are too many thoughts that run through my head when i'm trying to sleep, and then i end up being awake for way too long. i read somewhere that it takes an average well rested person 20min to fall asleep. it used to be instantaneous for me, but now it's taking upwards of an hour. in addition, i've been having good dreams lately, and i think i look forward to sleeping cause maybe i'll dream of something good. escaping reality...
kathy emailed me something about a woman who tried to drink water w/o peeing while playing wii and ended up dying. overhydration! and the case was mentioned in our physio class. it's all about osmosis and bursting cells. peeing has nothing to do with it. of course maybe if she survived, her bladder would have exploded, but she never made it that far. and that should be a lesson to everyone to make sure there are electrolytes in your water when you are drinking a lot of it!

i hear that's how kepler died (if memory serves). my dad might've bought me a wii, but i'm not sure. he called me to ask if $425 was a good price for a wii, which i don't actually think it is, but i was so excited that he was thinking about it, that i said, "YES!". so, maybe mommy will bring both a 360 and a wii when she visits!!!!
425!>?!? they were selling it for 260 i think. unless it comes w/ a couple games. well if you get a wii AND xbox360, i'll defn have to come visit. except we have to go out and see some of hk and surrounding areas at some point too...
