doopie doopie doo

house is the best show ever. he makes neat deductions like sherlock holmes and he is almost as quirky as he too. and since sherlock holmes is my hero, i like house too. i like bitter people.

i went clubbing on saturday night. the club is a sushi restaurant during the day and a cool indian hang out place during the night. i thought since i had never ventured into that part of town, might as well try it. we got there earlyish around 11. by 1, they wouldn't let anyone in unless they paid for a $300 table. how crazy is that?! unfortunately, that meant late friends had to go elsewhere. all in all, it wasn't a bad night.

what else is new? i broke a friend's shoelace in attempt to give him a shoe loopy. i felt bad. he was being a jerk though, so i don't feel too terrible.

i started the smite workout. almost done with week 1. it's nice having planned stuff to do every day. and i like getting off my butt. i found a friend who is willing do it with me. hooray. so i went looking for foam rollers. they're selling them for $30 at city sports! how crazy is that?? i guess it comes w/ a core performance dvd, but jeez... it's just styrofoam. i could probably make some in the lab. hmmmmmmm.....

the undergrad kids have flooded back. i was enjoying the nice uncrowded campus. no lines, no traffic. but the kids coming back brought the ultimate back on campus. i walked by the men's practice by chance, and saw a lonely guy throwing into a lacrosse goal on the sideline. being the extroverted ultimate loving person that i am, i introduced myself and subbed in for the net. i threw for the first time in 3 months. it felt awesome to get in the rhythm of catching and throwing.

oh yes, and i broke the lcd screen on my laptop. i'm terribly sad. and i have a feeling the warranty won't cover it.

my roommate has an interview tomorrow... it has me feeling anxious. hope she rocks it. and i really hope things go as planned this year.
