6. C stands for cell. all the batteries say 3.6V or 3.7V on them, but really full charge is 4.2V. go figure.

I'm not sure about my answer to number 12. It seems less clever than all of the other answers.

my guess of 1. is someone's jersey number.
ah. 39=willie parker's jersey number. but i had to google steelers 39 to figure it out. i think it's still legit.
yeah, i may have made up the charter bus. chess board sounds right. :)
i think (5) is really hard. i'll be surprised if someone gets it. but maybe it's just me and my lack of exposure to some things in life.
oh, and there is another answer for (12).
5. 48 cards in a Pinochle deck, but I used google to figure out what the P stood for.
