friday night food

i'm recovering from a sugar overdose. a couple of us ventured out to cheesecake factory for cheesecake. i picked the toblerone cheesecake. it had the most sugar and the least flavor. boo. i don't know what i was thinking except that i like toblerone. should have gone with the pumpkin. well, perhaps i shouldn't have eaten the whole thing. oh well. the cheesecake was still creamy and good. =P i suppose i can go back tonight and rectify my mistake. on the other hand, if there were a toscis, i would have totally gone there instead.

at dinner, the first years were talking about a professor they have who constantly uses the word 'dearth' to describe things. they were talking about it intermittantly throughout dinner and after the waitress cleared the dishes, one of them says, 'there is a dearth of plates on the table.' hearing that my roommate, who is also an M1, drops her mouth open in surprise... 'i thought dearth meant plentiful!'
