101st post

this is my 101st post says the post counter. that seems rather high.... did i really have that much to say over the past few months?

my knives bounced off the table top i brought home from boston. i think i have to 1) get a new real wooden board and 2) sharpen the knives. or maybe learn to throw so that the point hits the board.

i'm excited that my arm is getting stronger. i can even shampoo like a normal person now. pretty soon i'll be swinging from trees like a monkey. rehabbing is going well. i can feel a difference in strength from the beginning of break till now. yay for therabands. maybe i should have waited for the doctors appt and final xray before doing any heavy lifting. mm. meh.

finished my final application. i'm done.

there was an earthquake in taiwan. my dad was there. but i think things weren't terrible on his end of the island. i've never been in a big earthquake. one of the good things about being on the north east region of the us. in addition to the great big snow storms.

lots of dinners with family friends happened. met an MIT '03 course 3er. she's good at mahjong. but i won more money! hooray. with the help of my cousin. i'm still a little fuzzy with all the rules.

it doesn't feel like christmas or new years. maybe it is because of the lack of decorations in the house. or the lack of real presents. (i got mostly cash) or the lack of christmas traditions. i think the only tradition we really had was opening presents christmas morning. but not this year. mmm the comfort of familiarity.
