mcnugget?
while watching tv, my housemates and i saw a commercial for mcdonalds chicken nuggets. 6 for a dollar! what a great deal! we decided to have a chicken nugget eating contest. we figured that 20/person would be a good upper boundary, so we bought 60 nuggets for 3 of us. $10!! no wonder america is fat. one by one each nugget went down, and after about 18, paramita hit a wall. ken and i were still going strong. so i guess we underestimated our eating abilities and the contest ended kinda anticlimactically. paramita did end up finishing her 20 with some struggle, but to be fair, she had eaten dinner beforehands. our goals were met, and on we went with our lives. next time, we'll know better and order twice as many. hooray for trans fat. our nutrition prof would be proud.

pshawww...chic-fil-a used to have all you can eat nuggets on wednesdays, and i think the eating record (yes it was a competition) was set around 80...but ppl cheated by smoking up beforehands so that they were really hungry.

yang (doris's boy) saw the ad for the 6 for a dollar nuggets and was itching for them when we were in nyc. but by then, the special was over (or maybe they didn't have the deal in manhatten?)
unfortunately, it was a limited time deal ending jan 28. i'm a little jealous i missed the all you can eat nuggets on wednesdays. maybe chikfila nuggets taste better than mcd's. the last few tasted like cardboard with mustard...
