friday goodness

today was our first test of the year. and it's done! hooray. a billion to go. it was on immunology and they had scantron sheets! man. it's been so long since i filled those things out. i was a little thrown off by the square fill in boxes since my technique is ideal for round ones. after training with round ones all throughout grade school and high school, it's hard to change. but by the end of the test, i think i got the hang of it. so big party tonight somewhere. my roommate was saying she wanted to go to a strip club?!? apparently, she's been to ones all over philly and even got herself ejected from one some time ago. i live with interesting people.

football! steelers won!!! neat. i was very excited, even though i didn't actually get to watch the game =(. though, i would have liked to see joey porter kiss bill cowher. i love watching people so happy. i live through them. and it makes me smile. i'm glad that charlie batch held down the fort and made some great plays as well. yay!

football again! friday football went well today. there were fewer people and more space to run to. and as a result, i was better. i ran deep the first couple of plays and was wide open and thrown to, but man, it's so terribly hard to catch a football while running out. i dropped all the deep ones, and felt dejected. oh well. things to work on.

things to look forward to: hanging out with old boyfriend andrew next weekend. kayaking on the potomac maybe? a tea party! and lots of embryology.

i watched the steelers game...they have these big tv's all over the office and they play either cnn or sports (mostly the latter). my coworkers must've wondered why i was gazing into space that way...apparently i can't watch tennis without audio, but football suits me just fine. a tea party o.o? they're gonna turn you into a girl yet.

it is too bad that we cannot watch steelers games together any more. you should come back and visit sometime during the football season next year =)
