rato

this morning, i arrived at work to find a half dissected dead rat pinned down with all its entrails falling out. apparently when the lab uses liver cells they actually get it themselves from the liver of a freshly killed rat. cool! i thought they just got some stock cells sent frozen from some company that did all the dirty work. it looks like i'll be sucking out fresh bone marrow from fresh rat femurs! yum.
