a real post

it hit me one day not too long ago that i am 25. shit that's getting up there. i still remember being frightened when i hit 20.

but being 25 allows you to do many things. it allows you to date a guy who's working for a law firm that gives out box seats at yankee games. last season in the old stadium! it's pretty neat seeing both stadiums right next to each other. especially in such a crowded place.

it allows you to go climbing at the gunks. it's amazing. nothing like hanging on some cliff being able to see miles out. oh, and the falcons!! they're all over the place.

it allows you to have your sister visit w/ her 6'9" bf. i sent them off camping and was worried the entire time. i hear there are ticks out there.

it allows you to be done taking 9 months worth of antibiotics that slowly kill your liver. i can finally drink! now it only takes a quarter of a beer to make me a nice shade of firetruck red. sorry laura, you'll have to work a little harder for me when we go out next time.

it allows you to go to an awesome Efterklang concert. somehow they fit 15 people on a 10x10 stage with each playing at least 3 instruments. they're an amazing group from denmark. i love those Scandinavians. these kids were down to earth and really getting into their jams. they're so good i've been inspired to pick up the trombone. if only i had a trombone... also the lead singer kept giving the best thumbs up ever. after every song. hehe.

it also allows you to have a totally antiquated laptop that only has 500mb after taking all the pics off your computer. thus, pics will come in the near future.

dude! i just saw a fat man walking in the wind. in addition to his short+stoutness, his clothes were full of wind so he looked like he was wearing one of those inflatable sumo suits. i told my colleagues that it's funny watching fat men walk in the wind, but they didn't appreciate it as much.
