smite, the mit womens ultimate team, had its first tournament this past weekend. we rocked! it was my first experience co-captaining/coaching a team before. i don't think i've ever spoken/yelled so much in my life. i felt like i was repeating myself a lot. hmm... yea. i wonder if the new people have a different opinion of who i am the rest of the other people. i feel like i was playing a completely different role by being the one who spoke, and not the one who just sat quietly in the corner. it's definitely a new experience. i kinda liked it. we'll see how the rest of the season goes. the team still needs tons of work, but damn, we have some talent.

i'm starting to get a bit overwhelmed with work. i already had to drop a job - for now anyways. grrrrrr. i don't like not finishing what i started out doing. it's like a failure. hopefully, it'll give me a chance to concentrate more on classes and stuff though. i think sometimes i want to do everything and i spread myself too thin so that nothing is done to the standard that it could have been done. i guess i'm still figuring out what i can do in terms of time management. much improvement needed there. it's a frustrating process.

there are ants in my room. i will continue to squash them until they stop coming. flame boy will burn them, and leonardo will cut them in half. ants beware.
