green woodpecker project

in preparation for the olympics in 2008, china is attempting to improve public manners of its beijing citizens. the chinese people are being taught how to form lines during "queuing day" and encouraged not to spit publicly by the volunteers of the green woodpecker project (they pass out green tissues to people). they're even trying to correct some of their mangled printed english by bringing in experts to proof signs and menus.
